How does seed paper work?

How does seed paper work?

Seed paper is a unique and eco-friendly type of paper that contains embedded seeds. It is made by combining recycled paper pulp with seeds during the papermaking process. The pulp is carefully mixed to ensure even distribution of the seeds throughout the paper. When the paper is planted in soil and watered the paper breaks down, allowing the seeds to come into contact with the soil. As a result, the seeds germinate and begin to grow, eventually transforming the paper into a living plant. Seed paper can be digitally printed, foil stamped and die cut into custom shapes. It is perfect for eco-friendly notebook covers, wedding favours, wedding stationery, invitations, business cards, flyers, menus, swing tags and a whole host of other eco-friendly print products.
