Yes, our foil edge gilded business cards can be digitally printed on both sides. However, it's important to consider that the process of foil edge gilding involves adding a metallic foil to the edge of the card with a heated roller that heats up to around 150 degrees. For this reason, full colour printed cards need to be laminated with a matt or soft touch lamination film to protect the surface during the edge gilding process.

The cards are also sanded down prior to gilding so it’s important to keep all important details inside a 5mm safety zone. It’s also not recommended to create a design with borders as it is very difficult to sand every edge by exactly the same amount. Sanding can take 1-2mm off each edge, reducing the finished card size slightly.
