Printing on 100% Cotton Paper

Regarding Cotton paper, we strongly recommend working with the white Cotton stock and having only small areas digitally printed (contact details, logos etc).

Printing a solid colour on Cotton stock or with a full colour/full bleed images raises two issues: First, by applying large amounts of ink, you will ruin the tactile surface and lose the overall appeal of the stock. Second, there's the issue of ink cracking along the edges of the card during guillotining. Cotton is a soft, bulky paper, which means any full bleed designs with ink to the edges of the card will result in ink cracking/flaking. To avoid both of these issues, we recommend keeping your card white and just having your text or logo printed. Utilising just black ink is very popular on Cotton cards.
