Digital printing is the process of printing digital-based images/designs directly onto a variety of media substrates.
Digital files, such as PDFs, can be sent directly to the digital printing press to print on paper, card stock and other substrates. We use a number of different presses that each have their own benefits for specific stocks. Digital printing uses CMYK inks, which means your images are printed using a combination of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (Key). RGB files will be converted to CMYK prior to printing. We're unable to offer pantone/spot colour printing.
We can also digitally print opaque white ink on to coloured card stocks such as Vanguard, Colorplan, GMUND Gold, Senses, Metallic, Pearlescent and Kraft. In addition to this, we can also print full colour CMYK designs on top of coloured card stocks by printing white underneath. This is ideally suited to smooth card stocks such as, Vanguard.
