Many times I encounter a client who gets dismayed with embossing versus debossing. I have to admit that when I first started learning about this trade that I also needed to be educated on the difference. Double-sided feather flag printing

Many people assume that all feather flags are printed double-sided. The majority of feather flags are in fact printed single-sided on knitted polyester. It's this material that creates the illusion of double-sided printing. Knitted polyester is porous which means the ink permeates through to the reverse side of the feather flag. This creates a vibrant rich print on both sides which is where the double-sided flag printing confusion sets in. The reverse side of the flag is in fact a show-through of the front side.
